Macroscopic Quantum Systems and Gravity Experiments
We are part of the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Southampton, UK within the Quantum, Light and Matter (QLM) group (QLM). Physics and Astronomy is part of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences (FEPS).
We are located at the Highfield Campus at University of Southampton. See also the google map below. Both laboratories and offices are in building 46, the Physics building on Highfield Campus. Professor Ulbricht does not have an office anymore as part of Future ways of Working (FWoW) pilot, but can be found in building 46.

Southampton is 75 miles (120km) from London. The M3 and M27 provide fast, direct access to the city. There is a Pay and Display car park for visitors, accessed from University Road. Please note that the car park can fill up very quickly during the morning and though there is parking available in the adjacent roads they tend to have a 2 hour maximum stay. There is also a car park directly at building 46 (Physics). We can sort a parking permit, if you inform us upon arrival.
Fast trains from London and Bournemouth/Weymouth stop at Southampton Central and Southampton Airport Parkway. Trains from Portsmouth and Bristol/South Wales stop at Southampton Central. You can find details of routes and timetables on the National Rail website.
